From Spreadsheets to Spaces - that is what I’ve titled my career path to interior design. I grew up immersed in crafting and interior design. Heck, I thought every family planned vacations around antique stores. (Turns out, we were a rarity.)

-- it was just part of making a home feel like home.
But interior design?
I didn’t consider that a career
So, I studied information systems, landed a job at Disney (big Mickey fan here!), and later earned a master’s in data analysis from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). It was later, sitting in a windowless cubicle that I dubbed “the dungeon” that I realized something was still missing from my professional life.
I found fulfillment in decorating our first home, though. I started to combine my creativity with my love of logic (because a space should be lovely and logical!). I created a little oasis away from “the dungeon.” I loved turning our house into a home and bringing new life to our historic Huntsville bungalow.
And, slowly, I forged a path in interior design, and, boy, has it been fun! When not working, I can usually be found at home working on projects or cuddled up with my dog, Basil, and a good book.
